Family Tree - Leia Skywalker
Although Leia and Luke Skywalker were born to Padme and Anakin Skywalker, circumstances lead them to be split up and given to "foster" parents. Leia was given to close friends of the Skywalkers, Representative Bail Organa and his wife, the Minister of Education, on Alderaan. Here they raised her as their daughter, Princess Leia Organa.
