Slower than I’d like, but still. Even on a Russian Linux forum I frequent, which otherwise is as misogynist is one can get, the “zomg a gurl!!1” mentality seems to have mostly faded away.

Glad to hear the presentation went well, and thankyou for posting the link to what “men who aren’t mysogynists can do to help”. It’s a great reminder that even if you’re not in the mistreated minority, that you still have the power to make a change. I’m reminded of one of my favourite sayings “The only thing that must happen for evil to triumph is for good men (and women) to do nothing.”
Thanks for reminding us that doing nothing is not an option. :) Men often pride ourselves on strength. This is a great opportunity for us to use that identity to stand up for the common good.
