The Wedding of Elizabeth and Michael

Thank You!

We can't possibly thank everyone who has made a positive difference in our lives here, but we would like to single out a few who were especially influencial to the wedding processsuch a success.

The best man Robert Perusse. Michael doesn't have a closer friend than him and he came through in so many ways we can't begin to describe them all here. It was an honor to have such a wise, intelligent and caring friend by our side in all of this. Thank you for the bachelor party, driving all over the place and bringing with you your optimisitc and wise ways. And thank you for the gifts!

Danita Fries, Elizabeth's made of honor. Again, there was that level of support and humor that only she could bring to the table. She was as beautifully dressed as Elizabeth was in the ceremony and helped balance the energy that existed. And thank you for the new dinnerware!

Reverend El Sybmesa for working so dilligently with us on fine-tuning our ceremony, performing her part in leading our prayers and making the 4 hour trek out to Maryland with her husband Robert. This was their 31th Wedding Annivesary so their was much more than just our day to be celebrated.

Juliana Kayser for doing the driving the four hours to do the photography for the entire event. Her passion and energy was nothing short of incredible. In fact, she even had a sore trigger finger to prove it come the end of the day. And thank you for marble incense burner!

Tony and Judi Perino, the Castle currators, made this event one of such high class with their wine, fruit and cheese greeting, breakfast for 13, their dilligant upkeep of the rooms and keeping the fire going in the lounge for our guests.

To our wonderful friends Bob and Joanne Albrightson for taking the trek from Maine, by car, to attend our ceremony. That trek couldn't have been simple for just a single weekend and it was an honor to have them both in attendance. And also for their gifts to us, one of which included a week long stay at their house in Sedona, that which has altered my perception of Arizona in its entirety. There is no possible way our honeymoon could have been any better and these two people are solely responsible for this happening. We can't thank you enough.

To our close friend Mike Joseph who took the wheel of his car and drove Elizabeth and Danita to Mount Savage from Schwenksville and back again. It was also an honor that he was able to attend our ceremony. And thank you for the gift!

To Elizabeth's best friend from High School Leslie Potter and her boyfriend Tim for taking a flight from Maine into Pittsburgh and driving down to Maryland to attend. It was wonderful to see you both!

To Ian Gobert for driving up from Virginia and bring with him his wit and charm to complete the circle of friends that made this event what it was. And for knocking my socks off by giving us an SGI O2 as a Wedding Gift. Thank you!

To Jim Frank, who hosts regular sweat lodges and who showed us the path of Shamanism. The 8 month course we attended with you was transformational, and our wedding reflects much of what we learned from you.

To our Mothers for taking the time to collect sand from beaches we played on as children for the mixing of sand ritual

To our friends in #13thHour for all your love, humor and support through the years.

To our friends we met through LiveJournal for all your best wishes and support.

To our families, who were not in attendance but many of whom were very supportive throughout the process.
