Our Honeymoon in Sedona, Arizona

Day Two - Relaxing in the house

Early Tuesday morning I was woken up by the howling of coyotes. A quick Google search told me that they're all over the place out here - so much so that few people have outdoor cats for fear they'll be taken off by the coyotes.

Sedona Rainbows

I managed to get out of bed around 8, which means I got a nice 12 hours of sleep that night, nice! Michael had cleaned out the the nice bubbly tub the night before (it was just dusty and had a few dead bugs in it because it hadn't been used in months, and our friends warned us that moths like to climb in the pipes so to flush them out first). But by the time he was finished we were too exhausted to use it! Bubbly tub bath in the morning was nice.

We had some bagels for breakfast and chilled out in the morning reading and looking through hiking looking for somewhere to go hiking.

Around 11:30 we hopped in the convertible and went looking for the trail we had decided upon hiking. Unfortunately the sky began to darken and we could smell rain, and sure enough it started drizzling before we got to the trail. We took this as an omen. We weren't really going to do any big hiking that day anyway, my feet were still sore from traveling and we needed to get further hydrated. So we turned the car around and headed into town to pick up some firelogs and a few movies.

Mahi Mahi Dinner

We spent the rest of the day snuggled on the couch, reading, watching movies and just chilling out with a fire in the fireplace. The clouds came and went throughout the day, it rained a couple of times. I love lazy days!

For dinner Michael made some Mahi Mahi and mashed potatoes, which we enjoyed with a bottle of Sterling Chardonnay. Delicious!

We watched another movie after dinner, but I was so tired that I ended up falling asleep halfway through it. We finally made it from the couch to the bed around 10PM.
