Day Six - The Trip Home

We got out of bed at 5AM to get on the road by 6. Got everything packed up in our suitcase (including the camera - which means no pictures of the ride home). On our way out of the neighborhood we saw a whole big family of Javelinas crossing the street, and then a couple rabbits.

The ride back into Phoenix was a breeze, even returning the rental car was easy. I'm very glad we did this on a Saturday, I imagine the area gets pretty congested.

We got into the airport with plenty of time for our 10:15AM flight. The plane ride home was not too bad, we taxied on the runway for quite some time before takeoff, which delayed us some. We arrived back in Philadelphia around 6:15PM EST. We got our bags and hopped on a 7:42 train back to Glenside where Michael's mother picked us up and brought us back to her house to feed us. Around 9:30 we packed Caligula up into the car and drove home.

It certainly was a wonderful vacation, but I was glad to be home with Caligula, I sure missed him.
