Tue, 19 Nov 2002 00:13:00 +0000 hourly 1 https://wordpress.org/?v=6.8.3 https://princessleia.com/journal/2002/11/10673/comment-page-1/#comment-21790 Tue, 19 Nov 2002 00:13:00 +0000 http://princessleia.com/journal/?p=10673#comment-21790 We still have recycle bins and stuff for cans but I don’t know that anyone ever takes them in.  We had a can deposit in Missouri until last spring when the powers that be decided to get rid of it.  Why?  Dunno.  But I have to say I like Maine where anything that remotely resembles a beverage container gets a return (fifteen cents for wine bottles!)  My mom’s pretty adamant about recycling everything so I’m always shocked when I see someone throw a can in the trash.  It probably doesn’t make a huge difference to recycle, but it doesn’t hurt, either.
