I’ve only ever been to Orlando, on two different occasions, and because I’m scared of Mickey Mouse I didn’t like it.  But, right now I’m cold, and Florida sounds pretty good to me.

Too bad about that other comment.  I rather liked San Diego.  I’m surprised Boston is more expensive, but that’s okay, I didn’t want to live there anyway.

By: DragonsFire https://princessleia.com/journal/2002/12/10770/comment-page-1/#comment-21835 Wed, 18 Dec 2002 19:58:00 +0000 http://princessleia.com/journal/?p=10770#comment-21835 I love Florida.  I lived there for a year.  If you don’t want tourists, stay out of Orlando.  If you don’t want old people, keep away from South Florida.  Tampa/Clearwater is the best place to be.  I lived in Orlando, and it was great except I developed this undying hatred for tourists that remains with me 4 years after moving there.  lol I loved it though, I’d go back.  But then, I’m a warm weather, tropical beaches kinda girl…   As far as the cost of living goes, it really depends on where you are.  Beach communities aren’t cheap.  But then again, it’s probably better than San Diego, where I am, and Philadephia, where you are (right?).  Boston is supposed to be the only other city in the US that’s got a higher cost of living per average salary than San Diego.    I never considered myself po’ folk until I moved here… lol

*sigh* anyway, I think you’d like Florida. 

Oh yeah, it’s extremely painless to get your license switched down there too!
