Yep, that’s a Singer sewing machine. I bought it a couple years ago, I’m no sewing master but I can make curtains and pillows :)

And the “box” next to my desk is an SGI Indigo2 server, I’ve stashed it in my apartment until I can give it to its new owner (hopefully tonight!)

Is that a Singer sewing machine (covered) behind the left speaker ? What’s the box marked “Indigo” on the left ?

The apartment I live in isn’t really friendly space-wise for any kind of rack. Plus I don’t want to admit that my personal computer collection is big enough to require it quite yet ;)

I think your desk is superb… I wish I has a desk like that, I am using an old kitchen table and a swivel chaire with no back on it. Sigh ;-)

Have you thought about getting a rack of some sort to fit in the corner for your equipment?… one with four or five tiers?
