I didn’t want to be seen as a brainless helpless girl. As an adult I feel I should be able to wear pink chiffon, rickrack, a fluffy tutu, and call myself George…and still be respected as intelligent and capable.

The quality of content in anyone’s head or heart has very little to do with the physical package they were given at birth or the extra packaging they swathe themselves in.

Being a smart, tech savvy woman doesn’t exclude one from liking pink glittery things. I got sparkly stickers on my laptop where I code and animate and I got fancy art stickers on my iPhone where I manage social networks and websites. Pink and proud.
