Unfortunately even LTS releases don’t typically get major point releases of software (a recent exception is Firefox), including Unity, so it will have Unity 5.10 forever. All updates to software once a release is made are minor releases related to major bugs and security issues.

I was there last night during the dinner and the first half of the talk. Sorry I had to leave early. Thanks to you and Grant for putting on a great meeting. I had a question about Ubuntu 12.04. Will the Unity version within 12.04 continue to be updated going forward because it is an LTS release? In 11.10, as far as I can tell, Unity was left at version 4.28 without ever getting updated to version 5.x.
