I think I can safely say it’s more disturbing to hear someone be happy and positive about _everything_ than to meet someone who likes to drink blood. What can I say? I mean I’m not as pessimistic as I used to be, I really do look on the bright side when I’m in the mood, but my life’s not perfect… do all these super optimists just lie to themselves and the world in blogs and go home to beat their head against a wall? No one can be so happy!! The world may never know…

Right. So Open Office officially sucks ass. True it’s free, and it’s got quite a number of decent features, but it crashes way too often. I was writing a letter (real paper letter) to my penpal in england (she doesnt have a computer, and an online relationship would really ruin this 6 year penpal thing, hehee)… and open office crashed! Granted I should have been saving… and looking back I probably should have written the thing in vim and then moved it to open office to format and print… *sigh* I just get so frustrated with open office at times like this %) Not to mention it’s slow ass on my computer, and I ALWAYS get errors when saving and exiting (even though the saves do seem to take, I dunno why I get errors).. At least it’s better than Star Office %) I suppose this is one of the times where I have to break down and say that Microsoft Office is superior to anything so far in linux *sigh* even though you are supposed to pay for it, it’s fast in windows and really is stable as far as windows is concerned. Gah… stupid dumb everything

Hmm in other news I slept well last night! Yes that is news, I usually sleep terribly.. prolly after that hangover yesterday (which I got over pretty quickly, luckily) I was tired and able to sleep… Feels good to get a good night sleep sometimes.. of course I will probably pay for it with terrible nights of sleep after this *shrugs*

Anyway, I found out yesterday that my local httpd server doesnt like some php… it’ll process parts but wont respond to other parts.. I thought it was the scripts, so i uploaded them to the webserver and they worked fine… I have no idea what is wrong, and I would work on them on my webserver but I need to be able to access and use MySQL as root, which i cant do on the webserver(and dont want to, if i screw something up, my webpage goes down, as well as myk’s). Hopefully Myk can figure out what’s wrong tonight… I will wander around google and check some stuff out, but it’s entirely likely that I wont be able to fix it on my own, and will prolly break more if i try %) .. if I cant get that working I’ll prolly work on parts of my webpage that need work (oh that would be all of them, heh) *wanders off*<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Sister Hazel – Your WinterSometimes I just wander around random blogs to see what other people in the world are doing… and I realized today how much I absolutely dispise ultra optimists… Maybe not them personally, but when I read a blog that is continually sickeningly sweet it really disturbs me.
