All I wanted was another place to hang out in from time to time, make some new friends&#8230; but it&#8217;s just very difficult to be accepted into an established group, even if I am welcomed by the room owner. This evening I was feeling sorta down, and thinking about emailing the room owner telling him that things just weren&#8217;t working out and that I was leaving. But then one of the chatters posted his geocites url in the channel. I mentioned something about http:\/\/www.dot.tk &#8230; their free page forwarding service that gives you a coolname.tk. At first they didn&#8217;t want to give me a chance, were like &#8220;ack pay!&#8221; &#8230; the only paying stuff is if you want to use it as a real domain, have full legal ownership, etc&#8230; And I was so frustrated with not being accepted I said &#8220;but this is free&#8230; *sigh* forget it, i was only trying to help&#8221;&#8230; then considered writing that email.
