So my webpage is still down, which obviously has me pretty bummed… Oh and we got the electric bill, no more A\/C all day! Unless it’s really hot, so it’s getting pretty warm in here, I guess I could go to another room, since I know the computers are what cause most of the heat in here, but that would not be any fun. I’m just drinking lots of water and trying to keep myself occupied, it’s supposed to be in the 80s for the next week at least, ugh, I miss Maine, hehe.
So with my site down, what was I doing all day? I was playing games with my neopets ok!!! Yep, the sad sad world of my life, I have 3 neopets. The only reason I dont just kill myself now (that’s sarcasm folks, geez), is ’cause I know a guy online who has neopets too, and he’s older than me and he’s not gay, hehehe. So I am sure I am not the only college age person with one.. *ahem* so yes, I spent like most of the morning and half the afternoon playing with them. I got a bit carried away with Blackjack tho (no one told me card games were addictive!!!), I ended up losing half my money… not that it matters much, you can get it back by playing free games n stuff. I even went as far as working on their little webpages. I still probably will when I finish this and realize how insanely bored I am again. Unfortunately since my webserver is down (ugghhhh!!!) I cant make my own banners n stuff yet for the sites if I do decide to create them. Geez I have no life.
No wait! Tomorrow we are going somewhere where there are people n stuff. One of our friends has a pool and he’s sorta having a pool party tomorrow. Of course I dont have a bathing suit, and I’m so insanely self concious I prolly wouldnt swim anyway, but it’s a great excuse %D I guess they wanna play D&D too, they will prolly beg Myk and I to play. And being a geek, I have played *once* but that was a while ago and playing a couple sessions definately doesnt get one used to playing a game… luckily I played Vampire The Maquarade quite extensively so I *do* know how rpg’s usually play out. Myk on the otherhand (being the cool guy that he is) has never played. How did I end up with a guy who is only recently turned geek? Hehehe. It’s like when we went to the midnight showing of starwars, I was probably the only girl that dragged her boyfriend to it instead of vice versa… bleh, anyway… I dont really wanna play but Myk had mentioned to them that he might sit in for a session sometime, and I guess tomorrow will be a pretty good opportunity. Plus it’s a good reason to get out of the house for the day and not spend lots of money, hehe.
Hmmmm in other news, Lilo and Stitch comes out today… ah I remember back in the day when I went to see every disney movie opening day… for Hercules we even went to a special expensive sneak peek a week early. We got a neat commemorative pin n stuff (which i scanned, but of course i cant post ’cause my website is down!!!)… too bad the movie sucked. Anyway, I dunno if Lilo and Stitch will be any better, but dispite my slacking in seeing disney movies on opening day I have seen them all in the theater… Atlantis I saw at a drive in, double feature with Pearl Harbor… I guess seeing both those movies was sorta worth the $5 I paid. Anyway, I’ll have to drag Myk to see it with me since we never got to see Ice Age, and we havent been to the theater since StarWars, and I am a movie theater going fiend! Must. Have. Fix. %) Anyway… I am gonna go wander off and do nothing again, oh maybe I’ll work on that perl tutorial a bit and pick out pieces from madragorans shitfi.pl xchat script to see if I can figure it out with my expanded perl knowledge.
