{"id":1101,"date":"2007-02-24T09:55:18","date_gmt":"2007-02-24T13:55:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/princessleia.com\/journal\/?p=1101"},"modified":"2007-02-24T09:55:18","modified_gmt":"2007-02-24T13:55:18","slug":"the-kitten","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/princessleia.com\/journal\/2007\/02\/the-kitten\/","title":{"rendered":"The kitten"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Simcoe is a delight to play with and she is so cute when she&#8217;s sleeping.<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"http:\/\/simcoe.bevilacqua.us\/images\/snuggled_with_caligula_01.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/simcoe.bevilacqua.us\/images\/snuggled_with_caligula_01_sm.jpg\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\"><\/a><\/center><\/p>\n<p>But she&#8217;s also quite the kitten monster.<\/p>\n<p>She destroyed Michael&#8217;s speakers (which would have been a real bad thing if we weren&#8217;t intending to replace them in the near future anyway):<br \/>\n<center><a href=\"http:\/\/simcoe.bevilacqua.us\/images\/destroys_speakers.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/simcoe.bevilacqua.us\/images\/destroys_speakers_sm.jpg\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\"><\/a><\/center><\/p>\n<p>On my monitor (you are not one of my toys!)<br \/>\n<center><a href=\"http:\/\/simcoe.bevilacqua.us\/images\/one_of_your_toys.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/simcoe.bevilacqua.us\/images\/one_of_your_toys_sm.jpg\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\"><\/a><\/center><\/p>\n<p>Just plain causing trouble in my office (perhaps needless to say, the cats are locked out during most of my working day)<br \/>\n<center><a href=\"http:\/\/simcoe.bevilacqua.us\/images\/bad_kitty_01.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/simcoe.bevilacqua.us\/images\/bad_kitty_01_sm.jpg\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\"><\/a><\/center><\/p>\n<p>On my lamp!<br \/>\n<center><a href=\"http:\/\/simcoe.bevilacqua.us\/images\/lamp_cat.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/simcoe.bevilacqua.us\/images\/lamp_cat_sm.jpg\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\"><\/a><\/center><\/p>\n<p>And now she&#8217;s all snuggled on my lap while I type this, giving me that &#8220;I&#8217;m cute, please don&#8217;t tell the world I&#8217;m a monster&#8221; look. Very sneaky!<\/p>\n<p>Honestly I love this little kitten, but I won&#8217;t be sad when we finish training her and she turns into a more calm adult.
