{"id":15772,"date":"2020-12-05T03:10:41","date_gmt":"2020-12-05T11:10:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/princessleia.com\/journal\/?p=15772"},"modified":"2020-12-05T11:17:17","modified_gmt":"2020-12-05T19:17:17","slug":"aaron-reuven-joseph","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/princessleia.com\/journal\/2020\/12\/aaron-reuven-joseph\/","title":{"rendered":"Aaron Reuven Joseph"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Wednesday, December 2nd I gave birth to our second son, Aaron Reuven Joseph!<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/images\/journalpics\/122020\/aaron_reuven_joseph.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/journalpics\/122020\/aaron_reuven_joseph_sm.jpg\"><\/a><\/div>\n<p>After a very difficult pregnancy, I&#8217;m happy to share that the birth was quick and uncomplicated. Aaron was a healthy size for 37 weeks and my recovery is advancing at the expected rate.<\/p>\n<p>Working with pandemic restrictions during our hospital stay was a story I&#8217;ll tell some day soon, but the entire stay went as smoothly as could be expected. They&#8217;re even still doing the lovely celebration dinner in the recovery room!<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/images\/journalpics\/122020\/aaron_celebration_meal.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/journalpics\/122020\/aaron_celebration_meal_sm.jpg\"><\/a><\/div>\n<p>Due to concerns we had after our first, and a couple risk factors, the pediatrician went with caution and kept us in the hospital for the full standard stay, instead of a day shorter that they&#8217;ve been doing during the pandemic. This gave us some extra assurance as we finally were able to go home mid-day on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Upon our arrival at home, our first son was there to greet us.
