This is mostly because the latest version gives me the ability to tether, and this makes me and my netbook very happy, but <a href=\"http:\/\/developer.android.com\/sdk\/android-2.2-highlights.html\">some of the other improvements<\/a> are pretty sweet too.<\/p>\n<p>Last month while I was visiting Google Mountain View, I snapped a picture of the building with the giant Android and the collection of dessert statues!<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"http:\/\/princessleia.com\/images\/journalpics\/072010\/droiddesserts.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/princessleia.com\/images\/journalpics\/072010\/droiddesserts_sm.jpg\"><\/a><\/center><\/p>\n<p>And one of me next to the giant frozen yogurt :)<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"http:\/\/princessleia.com\/images\/journalpics\/072010\/pleia2froyo.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/princessleia.com\/images\/journalpics\/072010\/pleia2froyo_sm.jpg\"><\/a><\/center><\/p>\n<p>As reported <a href=\"http:\/\/googlenexusoneboard.blogspot.com\/2010\/06\/new-android-22-software-update-for.html\">here<\/a> the OTA upgrades started on Monday. The upgrade for Froyo hit my phone a few hours ago, just in time for a road trip to Las Vegas this weekend. Awesome!
