They are both cousins from my father&#8217;s side, and while I have seen Brendan since moving here, it had been 5 years since I&#8217;d seen Audrey. It was a lovely sushi dinner with good company, and we even got a photo so we could show our families that we actually got together!<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"http:\/\/princessleia.com\/images\/journalpics\/092010\/cousinsSept2010.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/princessleia.com\/images\/journalpics\/092010\/cousinsSept2010_sm.jpg\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\"><\/a><\/center><\/p>\n<p>Last night I hosted the 4th San Francisco <a href=\"https:\/\/wiki.ubuntu.com\/Hour\">Ubuntu Hour<\/a> and was delighted to have 7 people show up for our little gathering. There was some great discussion and a lot of support for my idea of having our next Hour in November just prior to a <a href=\"http:\/\/bad.debian.net\/\">Bay Area Debian<\/a> meeting, so it sounds like that&#8217;s the plan we&#8217;ll be going with.<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"http:\/\/princessleia.com\/images\/journalpics\/092010\/ubuntu_hour_stickers.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/princessleia.com\/images\/journalpics\/092010\/ubuntu_hour_stickers_sm.jpg\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\"><\/a><\/center><\/p>\n<p>And now, since today is my 29th birthday, I&#8217;m wrapping up work early for the day and getting ready to head down to the <a href=\"http:\/\/sfzoo.org\/\">San Francisco Zoo<\/a>. I completely managed to miss the meerkats last time because I forgot that they were in the Children&#8217;s Zoo section of the zoo, so I have to see them, plus the penguin feeding at 3:30.
