{"id":509,"date":"2004-11-05T20:56:00","date_gmt":"2004-11-05T20:56:00","guid":{"rendered":"\/?p=509"},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-30T07:00:00","slug":"farmer-fish","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/princessleia.com\/journal\/2004\/11\/farmer-fish\/","title":{"rendered":"Farmer fish"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Our algae eater eats cucumbers because there aren&#8217;t any other fish in his tank, so it doesn&#8217;t get dirty enough to keep him fed.<\/p>\n<p>During the party last weekend I looked into the fishtank and saw a green stick with what looked like a cucumber seed on the top of it. &#8220;That&#8217;s strange&#8221; I thought, and didn&#8217;t come back to it the next morning, when I realized that it was a growing cucumber plant growing in the middle of the water.<\/p>\n<p>It was amusing, but such a thing can&#8217;t last.<\/p>\n<p>Now there are at least 4 such sprouts in his tank, I&#8217;m curious to find out what happens, the biggest looks like this now:<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"http:\/\/princessleia.com\/images\/journalpics\/fish_cucumber_plants.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/princessleia.com\/images\/journalpics\/fish_cucumber_plants_sm.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"fish cucumbers\"><\/a><\/center><\/p>\n<p>Yay my fish is a farmer!
