adventures of 2013"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I had a great year <a href=\"http:\/\/princessleia.com\/journal\/?p=7460\">in 2012<\/a>, but 2013 was really exceptional.<\/p>\n<p>Biggest news, on Sunday April 28th MJ and I <a href=\"http:\/\/princessleia.com\/journal\/?p=7982\">were married<\/a> in a ceremony just outside of Philadelphia!<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/princessleia.com\/images\/journalpics\/052013\/ceremony.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/princessleia.com\/images\/journalpics\/052013\/ceremony_sm.jpg\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\"><\/a><\/div>\n<p>We also hosted a <a href=\"http:\/\/princessleia.com\/journal\/?p=8421\">California reception<\/a> in August.<\/p>\n<p>Second biggest news, in January I started my job with HP where I now get to work on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.openstack.org\">OpenStack<\/a> Infrastructure with a team of amazing colleagues.<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\"><a It&#8217;ll kick off with a trip to Australia for my first <a href=\"http:\/\/linux.conf.au\/\">linux.conf.au<\/a> (plus my first time in Australia!) and I learned this morning that I&#8217;ll be speaking at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.socallinuxexpo.org\/scale12x\">SCaLE12x<\/a> Los Angeles in February.
