{"id":987,"date":"2006-05-27T10:41:36","date_gmt":"2006-05-27T15:41:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/princessleia.com\/journal\/?p=987"},"modified":"2006-05-27T09:43:50","modified_gmt":"2006-05-27T14:43:50","slug":"visiting-rehoboth-beach","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/princessleia.com\/journal\/2006\/05\/visiting-rehoboth-beach\/","title":{"rendered":"Visiting Rehoboth Beach"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday we spent a fantastic day in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware with <lj user=thinkingamericn> and <lj user=escapenguin>. <a href=\"http:\/\/time3.livejournal.com\/68395.html\">Michael wrote an entry about where we went, with pictures.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>We had a few goals on our trip to Rehoboth:<\/p>\n<p>1. Finally hang out with <lj user=thinkingamericn> and <lj user=escapenguin> on their turf (well sort of, they live in northern DE and Rehoboth is in southern), in the past they&#8217;ve always come up to PA.<\/p>\n<p>2. Visit the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dogfish.com\/eats\/DFH_Brewings_._Eats,_Rehoboth\/1\/index.htm\">Dogfish Head Brewery<\/a><\/p>\n<p>3. Go to a day spa for some relaxing services.<\/p>\n<p>4. See the ocean (ok, this was <i>my<\/i> goal, I am in love with the Atlantic and hadn&#8217;t seen it in a year)<\/p>\n<p>All were acomplished and we had a great time. The forecast had been for an overcast and rainy day, but the sun came out and the temperature rose a bit to make for a nice afternoon, even if it did get a bit humid. We certainly picked the perfect day for going down, we didn&#8217;t hit any traffic and the boardwalk wasn&#8217;t crowded at all. Dogfish Head was a nice place, good food, great beer, but they didn&#8217;t have growlers! We settled for picking up a couple <a href=\"http:\/\/store.dogfish.com\/store.cfm\/baseball_hats.html\">Dogfish Head hats<\/a> at their merchandise shop.<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"http:\/\/princessleia.com\/images\/journalpics\/BeachGirls4.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/princessleia.com\/images\/journalpics\/BeachGirls4_sm.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"Lyz and Kati\"><\/a><br \/>\n<lj user=princessleia2> and <lj user=thinkingamericn> playing in the ocean<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/princessleia.com\/images\/journalpics\/RT1-Rainbow.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/princessleia.com\/images\/journalpics\/RT1-Rainbow_sm.jpg\" alt=\"Rainbows\" border=\"0\"><\/a><br \/>\nA couple of rainbows we saw on our way home via Route 1 N, the second is a bit difficult to see in the photo, but it&#8217;s off to the left.<\/center><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday we spent a fantastic day in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware with and .
