We all climbed down, Michael going ahead me to see what Barry had found, I was looking out at the river, which was really amazing. Eventually we all went over to the place Barry had found. It was a big rock looking over the river, beautiful! Michael and I walked on top of it so Barry and Rae could "take a picture."

Michael kissed me and they took a picture, then he said "I wasn't completely honest with you about the reasons for this trip" .. wait, not completely honest with who? Me? Then he reached into his pocket. Oh my gosh, he didn't! And pulled out a small box. Then he got down on one knee and proposed! I got all teary-eyed and was completely surprised, I could barely squeak out a yes! But I did, and Barry and Rae stood by taking pictures. Wow!

So for the next 20 minutes or so I was pretty light-headed as we walked through the park. Really, I had no clue he had this in mind at all. Gosh. He told me all about how he came to buy the ring, get it custom made out of white gold (my favorite) and an emerald cut diamond. It's beautiful! He told me where he had hidden the ring and it's accessories (papers, ring cleaner, etc) around the house in places I probably wouldn't look. Wow. It had been in the house for over a month without me knowing!
