It’s also my sister’s strange canadian boyfriend’s birthday today…but he’s just not special enough to get onto this page.
*Yawn* So I was at a LAN party all day yesterday, offline so I couldnt write in this or anything *shrugs* The lan party was fun though, we played UT, watched some movies.. ate lots of food. We have pictures, i’ll put up a link for them as soon as we find the USB cable to get them off of the digital camera, hehe. But I guess it was a pretty good 4th of July, and it was completely alcohol free, woohoo! Hehe. We watched Shallow Hal… I’m not sure who rented it, but it was definately a strange movie. It had it’s moments I guess, I laughed, but as a whole it’s not the kind of movie I’d recommend to anyone, it got really cheesy at some points… We also watched Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, I saw it in the theater last summer, it’s still funny, hehe. As for playing UT, n-tropy kept wanting to play capture the flag, bleh… I dont like CTF much, so I only played a couple games of that. And my monitor is getting pretty dark (all brightness n stuff are turned all the way up, it’s just an old monitor..), so some of the maps were kinda hard to see in *shrugs* I played the best I could without complaining.. just got annoying sometimes when I’d be stuck in dark inside places and couldn’t get out because I couldnt see the exit, hehe.
We saw fireworks too, I think the last time I saw them I was in seneca falls at the Italianfest.. and I had to leave during the finale so I could get to work on time *sigh* not good memories! … but these fireworks were nice, lots of pretty ones %) .. but noew that I mentioned seneca falls, that reminds me, I got a letter from Fleet Bank in the mail on wednesday. Now this letter was addressed to me, at my current residence, 400 some miles from where I opened my accound in seneca falls… so they *know* I am not anywhere near that anymore… The letter was to tell me that the ATM at my “local Waterloo branch” wont be closing afterall… (waterloo is the town next to seneca falls). Strange huh? Stupid banks. Anyway, I guess that’s it for noew, I have some ideas for my xchat script so I’m gonna go play with that for a while..

I’m so glad to know that I can still get money out of the Waterloo ATM. Whew! What a relief!
Because I am uneducated in such matters, I read that someone at that party wanted to play capture the flag and imagined a group of adults (agewise, anyway) running out in the woods to go play…yeah, it did seem weird, but eventually I figured it out…
