It’s really hard to describe how perfect Christmas was this year. I didn’t really *get* very much; Myk’s present to me was the upgrade on my computer last month, and all I got him was a cd and a dvd (Dune dvd, which was for him as much as it was for me, hehe)… but it wasn’t about the gifts at all. For once I had a truly happy, pleasant, non-stressful christmas. I ended up calling my father yesterday evening while Myk made a fire, spoke to him for about 25 minutes or so, luckily he didnt dwell on me moving up to New England much… he tries to tell me about how is life is there each time I talk to him, but I never know what to say… I mean saying “awww” to your dad just doesnt feel like an appropriate responce, and it sounds weird when I say “dad, it’s great that you’re hanging in there” Hmm, doesnt sound so weird now that I write it, I dunno, it’s just a difficult situation. I havent mentioned the possibility of my moving to Florida, although I did tell my mother, I think I will wait until I am more positive, that way I wont have to deal with his “omg noooo!!!!” and then not end up moving, hehe.

I did learn some bad news yesterday, my cousin’s wife (who I have never met) recently lost her sister. Her and her sister are from Peru (where my cousin met her), and she moved to the US with my cousin, and her sister ended up being accepted to a very highly rated ballet school in Russia (these girls are from a VERY wealthy family in Peru…). Well, around July they stopped hearing from her sister, they were very concerned, filed a missing persons report in Russia, and they tried to find her. Unfortunately, a week before Thanksgiving, they found her body.. she had been murdered. Again, I have never met these people, but they are family now, and it’s a terrible terrible loss… and put a bit of a ‘black cloud’ over their thanksgiving.

I guess that’s it for now, I need to go take a shower (i slept most of the day today, hehe) and then go out to the grocery store since we are frightfully low on food “oops” Hehe… *wanders off*

    Wonderful to hear that your Christmas was pleasnt, Mine was for most part though I wish Roger could have been here *blush* *^_^* Talking to parents I know for a fact can be a hard thing to do especially giving advice. All a person can basically do is uh listen at times.  Moving to Flordia! o.o Why???? I’m sorry to hear bout your cousin’s wive’s sister that was killed (that sounds like explaning family tree there, fathers mother sister’s brother who’s aunt is his uncle bleh hehe lame joke i know :-p) I do hope things are better on that end of things and that they have found the killer or will soon. Talk to you soon when I get back home tomorrow
