I made yummie chocolate chip cookies yesterday afternoon, I’m going to make sugar cookies today yummie! We ended up ordering in some Indian food last night, mmm, then watched The Devil’s Advocate… which was actually quite good (ok, so I am a Pacino fan…).

I was sitting on the couch yesterday sewing the two buttons that fell off my coat this week (a strange occurance all it’s own, I have had this coat a year and two buttons fall off the same week), and I found that I was very relaxed. Now I’ve never been one for sewing… I have tried, but my sister Heather was always much better than I, most of the ‘clothes’ i made for my stuffed animals came apart within a week, even if i didnt touch them… but it got me thinking that I need a new hobby. See, when Myk is home, I dont get on the computer much (unless he is sleeping late, like now) and I tend to get bored reading for hours and hours… so I have been trying to think of things i did *before* i had a computer, and that pretty much is “playing with stuffed animals and my little ponies” … not really an option now %) SO I think, oh, well I like writing… but I HATE writing unless it’s on the computer! Hurts my hands to write a lot, GAH! Anyway, I was very content while sewing those buttons on and started thinking that I should take up some sort of hobby similar to that. I am thinking of taking up knitting. We have a friend, Rae, who is really into knitting and I think when we go to her house for a lan party (set up by her fiancee, she doesnt play computer games) I am going to ask her to give me some pointers and suggestions on where to begin. Should be an interesting experiment, and it has nothing to do with computers!!! Hehee…

Anyway, I am going to go get a couple things done before I make the cookies *wanders off*
