Eels – Cancer For The Cure

Ah friday!!! %) My day was decent yesterday after I decided to go for a walk. I ended up getting to work on R²D² summore… it’s frustrating sometimes, but it helps me keep up working with perl, I have the updated r2 (as of last night uploaded to my site as a txt file here: r2d2 v1.0.2.txt). It now responds to !time !date and !day commands… and I added a !part command that I had in the old xchat version… Heh, what’s even more frustrating is telling ppl what I’m doing… they are like “oh need help with your bot? and then I say “it’s not an mirc bot” .. “what kind of bot is it?” “irssi, with scripts written in perl” “uh… k… *backs away slowly*” geez, like these people have never heard of any irc client but mirc? Hehe… Oh well.

Wow, I have nothing to talk about. I’m walking up to the store today to get a sub from subway, heh… Myk left me some money to do that *shrugs* and the weather is nice, I might open the windows later…

Ah, so you know those people who just love to send you 24234 fwds a week with subjects like “yay jesus” “i am your friend” and “9-11, plz dont break this chain!” my aunt (the one that I lived with back in ’00 when I lived in Brockport, NY) is one of those people. She is luckily sending them all to my princessleia2.com email addy, I *have* given her my princessleia.com addy but she doesn’t seem to ever email me there *shrugs* anyway it’s very annoying %) Especially when half of them are intensive HTML, and obviously pine can’t see html.. or images, if I wanted to see the 50 billion dancing smilies in the email I’d have to move them all out of the email and view them, obviously not worth it. So anyway, the point! I saw an ad yesterday for MS Outlook that makes it “so much easier” (or possible? I never really used Outlook) to encode your email with all sorts of backgrounds, images, etc. Ugh!!! We should not give the monkeys more toys!!! I hate html emails… even to my yahoo account. Plain text for me, thx.

Moving on %) I ordered a few M:TG cards like almost 2 weeks ago and they havent gotten here yet… Just two foil commons (Plague Witch.. ’cause she was the card I used to win my first match in my first DCI Tourney). I am starting to get worried I will never get them, heh, that would suck… the guy had such a high rating too (on cardshark.com).

Anyway, I am gonna go… probably see what I can add to r2 today… *wanders*
