o/` Frank Sinatra – Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas o/`

Yes, Christmas songs already… we got a tree last night %) It was sorta a pain ’cause we didn’t know where to go to get one, so we just sorta started driving toward a place we had seen a few days before, and stopped at a stop light right next to a tree place. So we stopped there, it was just a place in a parking lot.. a local landscaper selling trees. So we picked out a tree and the kid went to cut part of the stump off and couldnt get the chainsaw started, then said they didnt wrap them OR give you anything to tie it onto your car with, so after 20 minutes of standing in the frigid weather we said forget it, heh. SO we decided to drive out to Frank’s Nursery and Crafts to get a tree (we got ours there last year), and on the way there we saw another place set up to sell trees, so instead of driving all the way to Frank’s we turned into that parking-lot. This time we had much better luck. Obviously this early not too many people are buying yet, so we were the only ones there, and they guy was really helpful. We *wanted* to get a smaller tree than last year, but I think we ended up with one the same size, hehe, trees look so much smaller outside! The guy working there helped us pick one out, and of course I was indecisive, I wanted the perfect tree! Finally, the 5th one he showed us seemed to be nice. We brought it home, cleared a space in our livingroom and put the tree up. It was a fairly painless process %)

We were able to get a tree last night ’cause Myk went into work early and so got to leave early, he went in early again this morning. This of course means that I got up early too, since I try to keep the same schedule as him. It’s really not so bad, I’m not a morning person, but getting up early doesnt seem to bother me, yet.

Don’t buy cheap socks. I got these socks at Ames las year and almost all of them have holes in them… I don’t even go out much, these are socks I wear around the apartment!. I hate having holes in my socks.

I finished updating my resume this morning. I guess it still sorta sucks, but it’s better than it was %D I suppose I am going to put it up on my website, why would I be reluctant to do this? I doubt someone will give me a job by visiting my site, and I’m not sure that’s worth the risk I take by putting my address so publicly on a site like that… but of course if anyone really wanted to stalk me there are 5465465 other ways to find that information. Yeah, so wanna see my resume? HIRE ME!. I hate writing resume’s … I’ve never had much talent for writing (says the girl with the daily huge weblog, I know).

Maybe I shouldnt run apache all the time, it takes up resources and it’s sorta silly, it’s not like I NEED my network page active all the time, only Myk ever sees it, I only actually have it for testing stuff anyway, and I am not always testing stuff, sometimes I am wasting time writing in my weblog %D

Stalkers suck. “Oh no, another stalker pl2? That sucks” … NOPE! It’s not someone stalking ME this time… it’s someone stalking Myk, and ex-girlfriend to be exact. See, a few months ago this chatter came in as “Captain” … at first I thought it was a guy, for the first few weeks actually. Then one day she said something that made me realize she was female, and we saw that her ISP was the college that Myk’s most recent ex went to. So the next day I asked where she lived, she said Michigan (NOT the place where the college is, it’s in West Virginia) and I asked where she went to college and she said that that was also in Michigan. So unless we had been mistaken, she was lying. It sucked because I had been really nice to her and helped her out with some things, given her computer advice, etc. Then, last night, she came into chat while I was in the bedroom reading, and Myk asked her if she went to that college in WV, she said yes, he asked if she knew his ex, she said yes. Then she started this whole thing about how Myk’s ex was bisexual now, always hanging out in bars, etc… Now the reason Myk’s ex broke up with him was that she was “born-again Christian” even to the point of becoming a missionary to Honduras, so something was strange here %) Given that Captain’s credibility was shot to hell since she lied about living in Michigan, Myk grabbed her IP and found out that it was the same ISP that his ex’s parents use (with whom she was living with last we knew). So we came to the conclusion that Captain IS his ex, and she is fucking crazy %) Why can’t she just leave us alone!? She broke up with him because he would never become a Christian, so it should have been over then… but last year when I started dating him she started harassing me until we started ignoring her, and now this! Holiday Stalking Season. Creepy.

Don’t you love how my weblog jumps around from random subject to random subject? No transitional sentences here!

I have been watching more tv than usual lately, I am not sure why really… it’s weird. I was watching CourtTV the other night and they had some show on E. Coli … I never knew much about it, it’s nasty! The show made me very glad I don’t eat beef %) They said that something like 3% of ground beef is infected! Of course if you cook it properly you shouldnt have to worry about the meat being contaminated, but what about when it’s in your refrigerator and has the chance to get on other food? Ick. Yay paranoia!

So in response to Ailstyn‘s comment, yah, newsspeak… I dont actually use it often, heh, but now that it’s brought up … I should really read 1984 again.. it’s been a few years. And yeah, i play computer games, and run linux, and like anime, and play magic the gathering, and all sorts of things girls don’t usually do… but I’m one of the most “girly” people when it comes to stuffed animals, cute animals, and the color pink (% hehee.

PLUG is tonight, I doubt we’ll go though, it’s supposed to snow, and the LAST place I want to be when it’s snowing is center city. We really should go to a meeting sometime tho, haven’t been since june %

I am going to go noew… I never did get around to messing with PHP and MySQL yesterday so I will do that now *wanders off*

    I love your wandering random blogs.    They sound just like me!  hehe  Yeah there’s no way I could actually buy a new system and with all the dead old systems around here I should be able to create something that will last me for a year or so if I start out at the top of the heep with a P4 and a 2.6GHz CPU.  At least I can  hope, right?  LOL  I spent tonight updating my PDA site’s look and feel.  I didn’t think anyone went there till I found out via the logs that 160 people came from one site alone.  Eeep guess I better keep up on it then huh?  http://www.pdivas.com  Well keep your chin up and your keyboard tapping.
