For each Ubuntu release I spend a little time finding a toy or other representation of the codename animal to use at booths, Ubuntu Hours and other events. See my previous posts about critters for K, L, M, N and O, Quetzals and Pangolins, Raring and Saucy Salamander.
Trusty Tahr was tricky and took some tracking. In the end I determined that it would be unlikely to find an actual tahr toy, and they are a type of mountain goat, so I should find a stuffed mountain goat that looks like the critter I see on the Tahr wikipedia page:
I ended up with the Hansa 15″ mountain goat.
And tonight she visited her first Ubuntu Hour in San Francisco! Joining Grant, James, Eric and myself.
